What are the Symptoms?
Though symptoms are usually similar, covid-19 can affect different people in different ways, depending on their age, health, and immunity. The most common Covid-19 symptoms are fever, cough, tiredness, and loss of taste or smell.
Less common symptoms are sore throat, headache, aches, and pains, diarrhea, rashes, skin discoloration, and red eyes. Seek immediate medical attention if you are experiencing difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, loss of speech, or chest pain.
If you have been exposed to someone with these symptoms, it is recomennded to do a PCR test and isolate until you receive a negative result. On average, it takes 5-6 days from when someone is infected with the virus for the symptoms to show.
